This is a very valid point. However, I really liked the way "Enchanted" managed to turn a lot of these stereotypes on their head. And of course, we can look to romances such as "The Princess Bride" for a good counter-balance. And of course, some of the later Disney movies changed this up a bit (I'm thinking Mulan here).
